Beco de Noronha resort is an establishment concerned about Fernando de Noronha environment preservation. Take a look at some of the measures we adopted to reduce the environmental impact.
Solar Energy System
The resort searches for sources of clean energy to heat the water used in the showers.
Water Reutilization System
All the water used in our laundry is filtered and treated in order to be reutilized in the bathroom’s toilet.
Trash Recycling
We separate recycling trash and send it to a processing mill.
The owner, Silvana Rondelli, reutilizes flasks and empty bottles in order to use them as raw material for the production of the “Faceless dolls”, craft made of papier-mâché, a success among tourists.
Besides that, the resort’s decoration includes rustic and reutilized pieces, the living room and apartment lights were made of toilet paper (not recycled), pigment, glue, branches found in the woods and the entrance walkway was shaped with reutilized glass bottles. As a matter of fact, these glass bottles were used in many other beautiful craftworks.
Check these marvelous works in the pictures beside. Click on the pictures to enlarge them.
